Kafta Kabab / Kebab by Chef Shireen Anwar


Kafta Kabab / Kebab is very famous recipe, also popular in Lebanese, Arbil Iraq, Syria and Turkey. This tasty recipe is shared by Chef Shireen Anwer.


Chicken mince (Keema) 1/2  kg
Salt 1 tsp
Chilli powder (Lal mirch powder) 1 tsp
Black pepper (Kali mirch) 1/2 tsp
Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
All spice (Garam masala) 1 tsp
Roasted gram flour, heaped 1 tbsp
Raw onion, ground 1
Clarified butter, heaped (Ghee) 1 tbsp


1. Chicken mince, mix in it salt, chilli powder, ginger garlic paste, black pepper, all spice, roasted gram flour, ground raw onion and ghee.
2. Mix all very well and marinate for half an hour.
Make in the shape of kafta kabab (long kebab like seekh kebab), put a burning coal, drop some oil and cover for few minutes.
3. Shallow fry these kebabs in frying pan.
4. When kebabs will golden brown then garnish with onions and serve hot.
